Kim & Zhang Support EQT’s Acquisition

Kim & Chang and Shin & Kim are assisting Swedish investment firm EQT in its acquisition of a South Korean waste disposal company.
Experts estimate that the deal could be worth as much as $700 million.
EQT is a global investment organization that manages private equity and real assets with a focus on sustainable growth for companies in Europe,
the United States and Asia-Pacific.
Korean waste treatment company KJ Environment is attractive to EQT because it operates in the plastics recycling and waste-to-energy business.
The deal is expected to close by the end of the year and Kim & Chang is advising EQT, according to a press release from the Swedish firm.
